Radiant wall, copper/ Thermofin retrofit

This should be a fairly rapid response with the 8" oc fins fitted with copper.

re-reading Mark Eatherton's article on his radiant wall (Habitat for Humanity) where he used a TRV to control the temperature. I've been meaning to ask him what product he used (Danfoss?).

So, how are you controlling the temperature?

The ThermoFin is a real tight fit with copper, actually youhave to drive the tube in with a plastic mallet, on the floor. I didn't see aneed for silicone or other.

Haven't worked out the controls yet, Alan.

I connected the loop to a garden hose off my water heater and ran the plates from 65 ambient to over 120 in a minutes time. It made a few ticking sounds, maybe 10 seconds worth. Couldn't hear it on the finished wall side at all.
