    Credit Cards

I accecpt credit cards, there are a couple of different methods. You can use a system that you call it in over the phone, or the system that I use is to input the card number into my laptop computer and process through the modem. These methods will cost you about 1.5-3% of the total sale. They are considered "not in hand sales" meaning you can process with out touching the card. You pay for that. Depending on how your business works, you may have a card swiping machine in your office. This may reduce the percentage of each sale that you pay. Also, different companies have different methods of billing. Some do a flat fee, some charge per call some do both. Check with your bank, they may be able to help you. But it is worth shoping around to get the best deal that suits your type of business.

    hope this was some help

    credit cards

We used to accept them, but after eight years in business and only six uses of this type of payment, we discontinued accepting them. Our regulars are very good at timely payment for services (all billing accounts are net 10 days).
With bank fees and service charges, we were paying $25/month for the priviledge, and no one used the option.
It's not a lot of money, but take a look at your billing schedules and figure out if you really need to offer taking cards. The lower your volume of credit card sales, the more you pay. We were told that our rate was going to 5% because we did't use it........only in America!!!!
