Gas grille shut off valve

We have condo complex with a community natural gas grille.
On several occasions it was left on for many days.
We are looking for a timer and gas shut off valve that can be turned on for a limited period of time then auto shut off if the user forgets to shut down the grille. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
David

    Gas Grill

Is the grill on Natuaral Gas or LP gas.

If it is on Natural gas then have a solenoid valve installed in the line before the grill. Have a timer installed that will shut off the power to the solenoid at typical times it is not in use. It will also need an over ride switch good for half an hour or an hour so it will run for an hour or half hour depending on frequency of use.

If it is on LP gas there is not much you can do if the bottle is attached to the grill.

this can be accomplished either type of gas, using a rated solenoid valve as stated. if it was me, i'd control it with an egg beater type switch. give them one that will run for an hour, after that it turns off or they reset it. simple inexpensive and a child could use it.
