Humility is a good thing to learn, and to practice. It fosters peace and understanding among people. It comes, hopefully, with maturity.

In my humble opinion.
Retired and loving it.

    Ten scriptures (dogmas) to follow

    Ten scriptures (dogmas) to follow.

1.No residential boiler can theoretically work below 60% efficiency. Even if it does, nobody should know or care about it.
2.Dry base boiler has equal rights to exist along with cast iron boiler.
3.If you want for your best customer to save up to 30 % of the fuel, install “Logamatic control”- boiler reset system as function of outdoor temperature.
4.If, by accident, there is no draft regulator on your customer’s smoke pipe, and during windy weather and boiler operation smoke infiltrates the basement, immediately install the regulator.
5.If you install the best oil filter available, it is impossible, that low flow rate nozzle will be clogged.
It is also impossible that oil pump failed and fire gets distorted.
    6. Always install pressure regulator on permanently closed make up line.
7.Avoid great invention of the last century: tankless coil. It is old fashioned.
    8. Install indirect water heater wherever it is possible. Never mind the cost of installation and operation.
9.Don’t let the customer control their own boiler with tankless coil in the summer .It is too much to trust.
    10. 3/4“ boiler ports can let through only 30,000 or 40,000 btu/h.
11.Whatever “Mad Russian” is saying is wrong and should be ignored.
After you know all the scriptures by heart sit back, relax and make money with clear conscience.

PS It is very hard to break through that “Wall”.

    There are those....

who do their best to be a part of the flock and keep up with the best that the flock has to offer......

There are those that lead the flock on to higher ground and away from danger......

    And......

There are those that will continue on the dangerous path despite the wanings of the flock and the leaders....

    down the road of destruction!!!
