Furnaces? NY Thermal?

If you want a high mass boiler, we like Buderus. Priced about the same as boilers made in the U.S. but in my opinion, far superior. Use high mass boiers for low mass heat emitters like baseboards. We have used New York Thermal's Trinty low mass boiler. Have had good results so far. But you wonder how these high tech, low mass boilers will last as long as these high mass, built like a brick s___ house boilers. About the only time we use anything other than a big atmospheric cast iron boiler is where we have venting problems, fresh air problems, space problems, or we just can not get it down the stairs.

    NY Thermal? Other choices??

Hello everyone. I am in the process of building a home in Maine and am shopping for a boiler. I have not found a lot of information with regard to performance or reliability and would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.

The house will be about 2000 sq feet with a bonus room above the garage of about 300 more. I stopped at my local contractor and the make that seemed the most interesting was the Odyssey by NY Thermal. Does anyone know anything about this boiler?

I am also looking at a Peerless Series PSC, an Olsen BCL/BFL, and a Burnham V713 & V714.

Any tips on what to look for and price vs. performance?

    Thanks in Advance!!
