Radiant and hardwood

Is there a problem putting hardwood flooring over concrete with infloor radiant heating? Does the wood insulate too much? Do you have to have a higher output to compensate?
What does the heat do to the wood? Is there a special installation process for the wood over cocncrete? Would there be warranty issues with either the wood flooring or the radiant system? Is "manufactured" wood better than the regular? Is laminate better because it is thinner?
Thankyou

    So many questions!

First step is to have a heatloss and design done. With this you will determine if the radiant floor can heat the space.

Personally I feel the engineered products work best over concrete radiant.

Not all wood manufactures are comfortable using their products with radiant heat. Always check with the manufacture.
