copies of them all! You're very lucky to be serving as caretaker for books like these.

  • Found some old books

I recently found some old heating books. Was hoping for any feedback. I know Dan is very respectful of the "dead men" and I am pretty sure these would qualify.

"Johnson's New Handy Manual on Heating Ventilating and Mechanical Refrigeration" John W. Johnson 1928

"Standard American Plumbing Hot Air, Hot Water Heating Steam and Gas fitting- Illustrated" Clow and Donaldson for Sears and Roebuck 1914

"Alt's House Heating Plans" Harold Alt 1933

"Questions and Answers on the OPractice and Theory of Steam and Hot Water Heating" Robert M. Starbuck1945

All of these books are filled with incredible ideas and sketches, They really give an insight into what the "dead men" were thinking and how relavent those theories are today.

  • I browsed through one last night. Amazing to think of how thorogh a knowledge that people had of something that we now seem to know so little about.

    old books

I can assure you that you'll find all these books at "addall.com". It searches nearly all the other used book search engines, so you cover millions of books fast. You might want to put up some new book shelves in anticipation!
