    We'll it IS called LABOR DAY, Right?

    Gotta keep moving on the damned house..these 3-day weekends are a labor-fest for me, time to move ahead. Silver-brazed almost 100 joints this weekend -mostly 2"...nearly burned the house down several times too. till I got The long-suffering wife, Barbara, on Firewatch. The Dog

    Why silver braze...because you just can't beat it my friend. You know right away whether you have a good joint or not. The biggest reason I used it on my fire sprinks is because during a fire, the higher melting temp of silver solder will buy me that much more time that the system will stay together- makes sense right? I always prepare for worst case scenario. Even my lead pan will be 6 lb lead instaed of the standard 4lb. Good eye gary...someone gave me that bench years ago and I never touched the thing...amazing what you can get used to, huh? Mad dog
