It sounds like i have air in my heating system??

that you need to add air pressure to the air side of the Amtrol tank. The pressure in the tank controls what pressure the system will be at beacause the fill valve is actuated by the air pressure, so if air tank is at 5 p.s.i. the system will only allow fill water in at 5 p.s.i. Check the air pressure with a good tire gauge and using an ordinary pump add air to about 12 p.s.i. and then bleed the system again.

air in boiler system?
I have a cast iron oil fired weil mclain boiler. I have one heating zone with 3 cast iron radiators on the first floor and 4 cast iron radiators on the second floor. this past heating season for the first time when the circulator kicks on i can hear what sounds like air in the piping and radiators. i went to all the radiators and made sure that there is no air in the radiators. i even changed the automatic air vent on top of the air purger. there is a extrol 110 expansion tank with a amtrol fill valve on it. all 7 radiators heated this past year but every time the circulator ran it sounded like there is air in my system. the circulator is piped in on the return line to the boiler. what can i do to get rid of the noise? thanks for you input.0 -
You've already done part of it
so maybe the circulator is starting to go bad. When it's replaced, move it to the supply line after the air purger/expansion tank, pumping out toward the radiators. This will flush all the air back to the purger so you shouldn't have to periodically bleed the radiators.

System pressure??
What is the system pressure? The gauge[if it works ok] should read 12-15 psi. The amtrol "fil-trol" may be plugged up and not allowing water to enter. This is not uncommon0
