To his first game last week. He'll be six in November.

He had a red number one foam finger and whispered in my ear " Dad if I yell GO RedSox, will they here me ?". " I think they will Pal ".

MAGICAL ? You bet.

Scott

    What a magical time

we had the other night. The weather was perfect and the game was close, well, at least for a couple of innings. The Emerson-Swan lads were gracious in my team's loss. Well, for the most part, and the Fenway Franks are everything I had hoped they would be.

Tiger Woods was sitting in the next section but he didn't stay for the whole game. I figure Tiger's a Yankees' fan.

And the train ride was very 20th Century. I love train rides.

Red Sox Nation people are delightfully nuts, especially the ones on the street before the game.

I had a great time. Hopefully, Fenway will live for another 100 years. At least.

    The magic continued

today, Dan. The Rocket won his 100th game at Fenway but what was great was the reception given him for his career. When he was pulled from the game the boos quickly turned to cheers.

I don't know if the cameras picked it up but Joe Torre was so impressed he was giving the fans a hand as he walked back to the dugout after lifting Roger.

Then the place really erupted when the Rocket came out of the dugout and tipped his hat all around the park-very moving.

Fenway is a magical place to see a ballgame and being only five rows from the Yankee dugout made for a lifetime memory. Plus, despite losing two of three, we're still in the race-on to New York.

    Red Sox Nation

is pure class, and so funny. I can't wait to go back. Hopefully, it won't be in October, though. ;-)

I took my 4 year old last week too.

We were 12 rows behind the red seat (longest measured home run hit at Fenway) and he still held his glove up and said "hit it here" when the Sox were up.

we went a few days ago......

did not see much though. some little kid had a real big band-aid on his hand, and his grandad kept jumping up and yelling "touch-down" and "where da budda ??" for his popcorn. ooooooooooooh.

    Hey Murph!

Take a look at Milne's post.

Ain't that the kid that was blockin' your view with the foam hand?

    Must be Scott's grandson.
