If you want to check if you need the MS Worm patch, here's the steps to check:
1. From the Start Menu, select Settings, then Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel, Select Install/Remove Programs.
3. Within the list of installed programs, scroll to "W" in the alphabetical list of programs.
4. If you have received the patch, you will see a listing for "Windows 2000/XP Hotfix - KB823980". The number is important. If you see a Windows Hotfix entry but do not see this number, you need to apply the patch.
If you need the patch, I have two versions as attachments. One is the direct .exe file and the other is a zip file. After you download the patch to a file in your computer, click on the download icon and follow the instructions.
