nasty virus!

I'm typing this on the portable. Got a nasty virus W32 Worm Blaster. Norton doesn't yet have the repair in the files, and even if they did, the computer shuts itself down before it will download.

Who are thes @55$#&les , and don't they have anything better to do ?Avoid attachments, and if you see a message that the RPC service is terminated unexpectedly, shut down !

Hope they find a fix fast . This little screen is murder on my eyes. Anyone receiving email from my address, DON'T OPEN IT . I will be without it till I get the big machine back up.

McAfee says

this is a variation of the LoveSan worm, and that their virus data files 4284 and higher will stop it. I just updated mine.

Try downloading the fix (when Symantec comes out with it) to your laptop, then boot the infected system into Safe Mode and copy the files to it.
