We put up this old,oak hand-hewn, beam that I got outta an old barn from the early 1800s. The tree probably started growing in the 1700s. This was the smaller beam ..only 10 feet long. The other is 20'...took 6 monster friends of mine to move it - and will go in my barn to support the loft. To those who have been a followin' it, , I've got my domestic copper 1/2 done, and the fire sprinks started - its finally turning the corner. Huge party will follow..all comers welcome. Mad Dog
