How to steal a patent...............

Hey Guys,
Suppose some small time contractor decided to show off his invention to a big company with big pockets. Lets say he has a patent on it and is very proud of his accomplishment. Lets say he asked for a small percentage in royalties. Now why should the big company pay royalties to the small contractor?
It is much easier to steel the patent and heres how and why. First off, the invention process is very expensive for independent inventors. So the small time inventor is most likely broke after all the expenses of development. He can't afford good lawyers. The big company has lots of lawyers working full time. Why not write another patent to get around the inventors patent. He can't fight because he could never afford the legal power to go up against the BIG company. Its brilliant and it works like a charm.
I want you to take a look at Dale Pickards heat transfer plates from radiant engineering called Thermofin. Also take a look at Upinor's heat transfer plate sold by RTI and Wirsbo. They look almost exactly the same. Now take a look at Dale Pickards patent 5454428 dated 10/3/95. Then take a look at RTI's patent 5743330 dated 4/28/98, two and a half years later. Did you know it takes 2 years from the time you write a patent to the time that a patent issues? What a coincidence? Now I am not accusing anyone of any thing. Just look at the plates and the two patents and decide for yourself.
I don't know about you but I will never buy a heat transfer plate from Upinor again.

How to buy Thermofin Plates
You can buy Dales plates two ways. One way is to go to his web site and buy them from him. www.RadiantEngineering.com or buy them from slant Fin. Slant Fin buys Dales plates from Dale. The plates are the best plates on the market with the best heat transfer.

John, not only are you 100 %
on this subject but the theft of copyrighted material is even easier.
The good news is that Federal judges are cracking down and passing out big fines and penalties due to the software and video piracy environment we're in. If you feel that Dale was misused he should file a complaint. It's still a matter of who actually ahd the patent or copyright first and the loser pays all of the bills at the end.
If Dale needs a good intellectual property attorney have him contact me, I know one of the best.0 -
Thermofin
John- I'll second that. Thermofin works so much better anyway. They tried to make a cheaper knockoff and they did but it works like a cheap knockoff. I had one of theur reps try and tell me both products were developed simultaneously. It was a coincidence that they are so similar. LOL. Maybe Dale will win in the end. With the marketing of plates by more people the word should get out that plates do benefit performance. Hopefully when given the choice the better plate will win the day. I agree that the big guys should be paying a royalty. What is right is right.0 -
The goliaths of this world always feel
they can beat the davids. It was Federal judges love and juries adore. It's the davids who challenge the system that win big time for all of us.0
