Bi-metal snap disc thermoswitch

Hello. I am looking for a bimetal surface mounting snap disc thermoswitch for the cooling system on my RC car. I would like to mount it to the surface of the cooling head with either a mount or some heatsink glue. An ideal size would be about 1/2" sq or in diameter. If you might know where I can find something like this it'd be appreciated. Thanks.

You got a water cooled RC car?!?

    Sweet.

I thought they only did that with boats.

I've got a Pirate 1/10 scale with an O.S. .21 motor. Goes through tires like mad. (and gears, tie rods, clutch shoes, bodies, and axels too.)

    32,000 RPM on a two-stroke diesel running 20% nitro.

    Big fun!

    thermodisc

check with local heating parts supply house. White rodgers makes many different temps of limit switches that could be affixed to that.

    Check with

Graingers and Johnstone theyhave online catalogs. Kickspace heaters come with some small diameter ones.

What are you trying to control. I wonder that the RPM vibration "buzz" will rattle the brains out of those snap discs. Any way to use a thermistor type of sensor? Have fun!
