You gotta love Friday jobs
This one was 4 zones - all zone valves , and an aquabooster upstairs with the bronze circ at the boiler .0 -
I'm used to working in tight spaces
but this one was a real challenge . I had to repipe everything - 5 feed pipes with 4 new zone valves , 5 return pipes , run a new water main pipe and tee in the aquabooster - all before we moved in the new boiler - at around 2 pm . Its real hard to see , but all the pipes are on the left side of the boiler . The electric could have been neater , but at 5:30 when we stared the wiring , we were getting delirious . By a stroke of luck , none of the pipes or wires were crossed .0 -
Was the plunger for...
extra flow during design days? 8-)

The system was put to the test
this past year , without a complaint of not enough heat from the homeowner . Thanks for pointing out the plunger .0 -
Very nice.
I find it really a challenge to make things look nice in a small space. A lot easier when you have a whole wall to work with (and a chrome plated mounting board. Hi HB):) Looks good to me. I can relate to the 5:30 wiring panic. Been there by God

We recently had a compnay meeting and I used photos of jobs from the wall to show the guys what could be done and how neat work should look. One of the younger guys said not everybody can afford big fancy job. I told him he was right but that even a single zone job could look neat and proffesional. I used photos of YOUR WORK to prove my point.
Keep up the good work man. Your inspiring others and keeping a standard alive.

Thank you for those comments , I really appreciate it . All day long I kept saying I coulda done a much neater job if I only had an extra day . I wanted to have the zone valves closer to the front , and the purge valves more accessible . But all in all , it isnt the hardest system to work on right now . It makes the whole debacle worthwhile when I read positive feedback like yours Scott .

The smoke pipe does look
like its taking a dip on the new boiler , doesn't it ? Actually , the whole thing is pitched up to the chimney . We had a - .03 at the breech . I didnt even notice that the old one was missing a regulator . Thanks Joe .0 -
Yep , my supervisors dont realize
what working almost 10 hours non stop ( no lunch or coffee breaks ) can do to your body , and your mind . I was getting dizzy connecting all the low voltage wires into a junction box at the end of the day . Thank you Wayne .0
