80 Year Old Radiant

What a thrill.I just started a boiler replacment on an 80 year old radiant system.Up here in Southern Ontario you wouldn't expect to see a system anywhere nearly this old.The original boiler was coal and then converted to oil with an underground tank.Tank was condemned last month so the owner is going with gas, which is already in the house. When I went to drain the system you would of thought that the water was put in just before I got there,it was clear as a bell. When I took The pipes apart there was just a little bit of sludge in the pipe.I will post more photos when its complete.
