is usually stopping in one of the few old book stores in our area. Like Dan talked about in his books..the vast amount of knowledge waiting to be revisited, you know, the deadmen stuff. Anyhow,I have picked through these shelves a hundred times, and always will walk away with something. But today was a bonus, as I pulled a book out of the dust, all I could see on the binder was "Starbucks", I'm not talking bout the coffee either. This is the original "Blue Book".Questions and answers on the practice and theory of sanitary plumbing, Vol two. Range Boiler Work, hot water supply and circulation. This book is in mint condition and cost me $5.95...Anyone got an "old" tinsmith book they would like to trade? Come on you guys, you're all wetheads. It only caught my eye, because of one of Dans many great books "How come!", when he talks of the Mr. Starbucks that handed him an old plumbing Q and A book and how Dan seen a need for one on hydronics...Thanks Dan! You have been a huge inspiration and motivator to me and my career. Maybe a book on "How come this sheet metal fitting looks upsides down and backwards"! :) Ok, enough screwing around...I'm outta here.

    A dear departed friend

gave me this book. Check this: Sheet Metal Pattern Layouts
Audel Publishers Reprint 1948 "A Practical Illustrated Treatise covering all phases of sheet metal work including pattern cutting and pattern development for all sheet metal workers, layout men mechanics and artisans". compiled by Edwin P. Anderson Copyright 1942 It's the coolest book I own. Thank you Mr Higginbotham. You were a true friend and craftsman. I miss you.
