The skies have opened up and we should have sunny weather most of today and tomorrow here is southeast Michigan. The meteorologists are wrong, AGAIN. Time to stoke up the grill!

P.S. Wear some red, white and blue on Monday -- it'll make you feel good.

    Memorial Day

    Have a safe and festive weekend. If you have to drink -- live it up -- but give your car keys to a designated driver; don't burn the burgers; say something nice to at least three people; shake the hand of a Vet and say "Thank you"; be nice to your kids and give them a little slack; wash the car or the pet, whichever needs it the most; take a deep breath several times and find a few moments to relax; rejoice in your family; and remember those who have fought and died for our great country.

    P.S. Enjoy yourself in spite of lousy weather (rainy and cool all weekend in Michigan).

    Thanks John, we all need to relaxe and take a deep breath every once in a while.

    We also need to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I hope its not raining on Monday, I was going to bring my Five year old to the memorial day service's in our town. I think its time he heard Flanders field and listen to taps. We all forget sometimes that its not just a day off.

    I hope all of you have a wonderfull weekend. I wish you all the best.

    words of wisdom from both,most people forget freedom is not free or never was.People think about a long weekend but not why we have it.Think about the people that served this great country that made it great and paid with their lives.But also think about family and friends that have gone before us,and the times you have shared.
