    Yes balancing the two airstreams

    is VERY important. most manufactures don't bog you down with efficiency curves for their equipment, but if they did you would see that relatively small imbalances in air flow (less than 10%) cause Large Loss of efficiency(20to30%). Thats why it's also important to keep the filters clean and the cells or cores or wheels washed and clean. as a filter loads up or the transfer medium gets dirty, efficiency goes way down. Paul
