Lochinvar powerfin boilers

We are having problems with Lochinvar PBL1000 boilers. They are locking out and recycling on air proving. We have set them to specs and the problems go away briefly. The factory is unable to provide any insights other than providing non - standard air shutters which helped a little. Has anyone else had problems with these boilers? Our experience with smaller powerfins has been favorable. Units (5) are vertical direct vented and installed per specs. Thanks.
