Cost of new basement zone

I'll be finishing my basement (bathroom and family room) in the near future and I am trying to work up a budget. I'll be installing a new zone off my boiler (new Utica, plenty of capacity) to serve a loop of 3/4 inch copper pipe and 3 cast iron baseboard radiators. If I install the thermostat and radiators myself and run the pipe to the vicinity of the boiler, and have the plumber handle the boiler connection, circulator, flow check, and control wiring, approximately how much do I need to budget for this project?

If I wanted to do 2 zones (one for bathroom, one for rest of basement) how much would this add to the cost guestimate?

Thankx.

    Check to see

That a low water cutoff is added to the boiler if it doesn't already have one. Good idea anyway but code if you add rads below the boiler.

    The boiler

and all components are all new last fall, pump away, shut-off valves enabling replacement of any component without draining system (except pressure releif valve), autofill with regulator, etc.

Any guesses on approximate ballpark cost? Western Mass area? Just need to have an idea so I have a figure when I apply for a home equity loan to complete this project. Thankx.

    It Depends:)

Unfortunately (for you) this forum is'nt appropriate for discussion of estimates. Not meant in a negative way ......just the way it is.What you propose is straight forward and using the "Find A Contractor" feature on this site can help you to get some contractors for estimates.

    Good Luck,
