Best circulator pumps

Someone one recommended to me the 'best' brand of circulator pumps to use in my HW radiant floor setup.

He either said Grundfos or Danfoss. I can't remember.

Any opinions on which brand I should specify for my contractor to use or is it not significant?

    trust your contractor

    not your circulator. When you buy a car you don't ask what spark plugs the car has. The important thing to buy is the contractor and the system.

    P.S. Danfoss does not make circulators (to the best of my knowledge).

    Grundfos

    Three year warranty, most have just one year. Optional three speed pump for about the same price as a one speed pump gives you lots of options on where you can use it, and an optional built in flow check, have used Taco and Grundfos since 1977, Taco is ok, Grundfos is better.
