The home has been a real challenge for a number of reasons. If you've ever tackled a timber-framed house, you know there's few, if any, available routes for ductwork, plumbing and heating. Toss in an eight-sided, four story home with an opening straight up through the middle & you've got major challenges. Add a 3.5 hour drive time (each way) and then go ask your guys for a volunteer crew that's willing to camp in the mountains during extremely rough weather!

Thw Watts SubRay performed extemely well, the little MZ purrs like a kitten & the potable PEX plumbing home-run system granted us the flexability needed to snake through a contortionist's nightmare! Taco circs with built in relays and checks fit the application like a glove. SpacePak design was so far outside of the box, we had their engineering folks pay us a visit on site to approve of our design. Two-stage stat allows for deep set-back of the radiant by utilizing hydro-air hot water coil in the SpacePak. SmartHome interface allows for remote control of all things mechanical.

Wild turkeys (aside from us), bear & deer have been regular visitors! I almost stepped on a very large racoon one night while answering a duty call from nature. Haven't seen hide nor hair of the rattlesnakes - yet.

At night, the stars are so bright you need sun glasses(G).
