I have it and I love it. The 1/2" combo tool is very cool and works like a charm. I can post pics if any wants to see it. It is made by Malco for Rehau.

Here it is...
You can put a 1/2", 3/4", or a 1" expanding head on one end and the other end squeezes 1/2" rings only.
It is fast and the joints never leak. Even in cold weather.
I really hate to say this but... goodbye Wirsbo.
I have used a bunch of Rehau but the old squezze tool was horrible!
The second generation was better.
Third time IS A CHARM!
I love this tool0 -
This is the second generation...
I was lucky enough to end up with 2 complete sets. Each set included
Toolbox
Expander tool
1/2, 3/4, and 1" expander heads
Second generation squeeze tool
1/2, 3/4, and 1" easy change jaws for the 2nd gen tool
Cleaning brush
Lube
Allen wrench
Pipe cutters (a white version of the orange General one)
Large diameter ratchet pipe cutters
I combined sets to end up with this in one toolbox...
2 - 3rd gen tools with 1/2" expander heads
1 - Expander tool with 3/4 head
1 - Expander tool with 1" head
1 - 2nd gen squeeze tool with 3/4" head
1 - 2nd gen squeeze tool with 1" head
2 - Pipe cutters
1 - Large diameter pipe cutters
1 - Lube
1 - Brush
2 - Allen wrenches
Talk about a production set up!
They had a trade in program where you could trade in old Wirsbo tools for these sets. I traded in 2 I bought for $75 each. Salesman likes it because now he sells me pipe and fittings.
Fittings are a lot cheaper than Wirsbo. Rings are 60% of Wirsbo's cost. Nothing against Wirsbo. I like them. But I like this better.0 -
and....
Here are some fittings I put together to show you.
Very easy to reuse!0 -
Easy Reuse ???
Please explain how to reuse the fittings?0 -
simple
warm up the sleeve with a heat gun until the PEX underneath is soft (I cheat with a torch) and then slide the sleeve back with a pliers. Same as with Wirsbo except I would never reuse a Wirsbo ring!0 -
works for me0
