Pex supply line to baseboard?
Kent D.
Member Posts: 9
I'm considering using 5/8" Wirsbo hePex to supply 180 degree water to a second floor, three zone, baseboard install. Any opinions or tips regarding pex vs. copper?
Thanks.
Thanks.

pex to second floor
Do it all the time....just remember that 5/8" doesn't carry the flow that 3/4" copper does and you are limited to the amount of baseboard and total run. Consult you installation manual. Hook up to the baseboard is the only part that's a little harder to do. Use bend supports with flat plate to insure proper alignment on your rough in...connection fittings are more expensive but labor saved more that offsets the coat. Good luck.
