Gravity Replacement-PGP

Just finished this gravity replacement. The Vitogas 100-35 does 14 radiators via an actuated 4 way mixing valve. We repiped most of the laterals and risers (and sewer main) to make way for a basement rec room.
We tucked a horizontal VitoCell 300 stainless DHW indirect under the staircase. A Vitoronic 200 outdoor reset does the rest. All radiators got new TRV's. Very easy to start up and balance. We were able to install 6" B-Vent up the original chimney, as a chimney liner. Sweet performance.

Beauty...

Pure beauty. Show us some radiators. Sure looks funny, having them little 1" lines from that boiler pushing the btu's to them big ol' piped radiators.

You do execellent work my friend. Keep raising the bar for all.

Sweet work Paul

Quick question, why a swing check on the indirect instead of a flow check ? Don't they tend to chatter more ? IS there a price difference ?

Thanks, Scott...we've used both and find that the swing works just as well. As long as it's 6" in front of the pump. I'vge seen German pipefitters use horizontal swing checks in the vertical position. It works.
