That's Always a question on A Master Plumber
exam. Incidentally, even though they are tested for gas, they usually require that any valves used on gas are rated by the American Gas Assoc. This (AGA) symbol is supposed to be embossed on valve. Mad Dog

the gas part of wog, can be any gas,,co2, nitogen, air...tho you are certainly correct regarding flammable gas.0
