The signature system

I have a situation right now that would greatly benefit from an article that John Sigenthaler wrote about a while back called the signature system. They used the hot water in the tank to heat the domestic hot water in the coil of the inderect fired HWT. Does anyone have a way I can size this out? Or even a inderect HWT they would recommend for this situation?

    most manufactures

    list their equipment as to GPh/Temp rise. just look up the ratings according to brand and go for it
