I posted some exterior photos of this job several weeks ago. We just about finished the mechanical room today. We have seven radiant zones and one indirect supplied by an MZ140 boiler. We are piping the snowmelt panel next week.

I have had bad luck with the trades the past two weeks. Last week, the stone mason drilled through my tubing. We fixed that on Monday. Today we discovered that the stone mason (different GC, different job) kinked both of our A/C linesets in the wall. We will have to open the drywall to repair. Then I received a phone call from the super on another job we finished several months ago. Apparently the wrong toilet had been spec'd. When they attempted to relocate the flange, they found my pipe. I need that T-shirt Heatboy recommended - "I See Stupid People".

You can't get away from them, Dan.............

and they always seem to show up on the job sites. Makes me break out in a cold sweat, it does ;-) As Dan is fond of saying, "In the land of the blind.........."

That ZCP is not on my list. Is it a custom panel? Please, e-mail the model number to me when you get the chance. Thanks!

What do you seal up the duct joints with? Is it code down there or just common sense?

As always, your work is unsurpassed in coolness!

    Nice Ductwork!

What type of plasma machine do you use? Why the cross brakes on the offsets? Some one has pride in what they do!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. The panels are made by HPS Controls out of Canada. Mike Bleier of Able Distributors (Chicago) hooked me up. The ductwork was fabricated by Tin Man Sheet Metal out of Manassas, VA. My guys did the installation. It is code to seal the joints on all new work. I believe the mastic seals better than silver tape, even though it doesn't look as nice.

I have many Monitor MZ's installed with good success. I just sold my first Vitodens. We are starting the project next week but I doubt we will be piping the mechanical room for at least another year. I will keep you posted.

    Dan, you the

man. I was wondering when those panels were going to pop up on the wall. How did you like them. Simple, clean, gets the job done (in my opinion).
