Tankless water heater

I unfortunately have scorched air heat in my home but I'm interested in installing a tankless water heater for my domestic hot water needs. I've seen some ads on the web. Any tips as to brand, performance and things to watch out for? Thanks in advance

    Take a look at Rinnai

We've had some success with Rinnai units. As far as what to look out for...make sure you get professional help with any hot water system. They know how to pipe it, control it and know all the codes.

    An option for you

is two install a watercoil/heat exchanger in your existing warm air system and ciculate hot water from a boiler and use the blower to force air by the coil and deliver warm air to the areas to be heated. like they do when using a air handler/ This could also be connected to a Ultra Superstor indirect for your domestic hot water and be supplied to both medias by a Munchkin boiler / heater. See manufactures go to Heat Transfer Products click and see the equipment available. Enjoy

    Info on Tankless Water Heaters

You should check on www.tanklesswaterheatersdirect.com - they have many diffrent types of gas and electric tankless water heater. You should first see what size you need - then how you want to vent it - then you can see which model to use. Up to 2 major uses at once - 5.8 gpm or so. More in warmer input water.
