    Great pic Mark!

Having four of mine own makes me wonder how they do it. We all need to be thankful they can & do. P.S. Being a "sap" is a good thing the older I get the more I realize it. John@Reliable

sign me up as a sap

Great Photo. One TV showed a father hugging his five month old he had never seen. He was crying and so was I.

What a sacrifice our military has made. We need to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice also.

    Role Reversal

My son was 12 years old when I came home from Desert Storm. He met me at the flightline.

My son is now 24 and I met him at the flightline when he came home from Iraqi Freedom.

It's a strange feeling being the hopeful one at the fence watching the sky.

Don't forget about those who waited at home while the hours ticked by, worrying. They are also the true heroes.

I guess I never realized how tough it was to be the family at home. My hat is off to them.

    You guys will NEVER be

    forgotten, Tom.

Hopefully, there will never be a repeat of the dismal homecoming (lack of) that our Vietnam Vet's got.

My Stepson, Vehicle specialist Billy Dillon, is still over there.

I'm still trying to find a flag that combines the Star Spangled Banner with the Union Jack. Maybe I'll just fly two flags. But the mating of the two flags sort of conveys how I really feel.

    God bless ALL people.

This one is called the Grand Union Flag.

It's from the 1700's. But it might convey what you mean.

It's from the 1700's, but seems appropriate.
