My Current Projects

I am Project manager for two large Mechanical/Plumbing projects located in North west Indiana. I would like to share a few photos of these jobs and post them for anyone to comment or ask any questions. The first one is in Valparaiso, Indiana and it is a 115,000 sq. ft. new library facility. We will be setting the two AHU's next week and hope to get a couple of photos when the crane is setting them in the third floor Mechanical room. The other is the LaPorte County Jail Expansion and renovation, we have finished the expansion and are working on the renovation portion.

Radiant Heat
Paul,
There was no underfloor radiant tubing specified but we do have about 900 ft. of "Runtal" heaters to install along the large glass front of the facility. For some reason we do not see a lot of underslab tubing for the commercial projects in our area. I have been reading the posts about it and I would like to do a job with underslab radiation, but usually we just have fin tube radiation and VAV's specified on the commercial projects we bid.0 -
This job was born for slab heat.
Maybe you can set a new trend. Large areas like libraries and many commercial structures are perfect for slab heat.
You could do a quick design to show them how it WOULD work.
If you want help with it, rattle my chain.
