    Bypass?....

Are you looking for a pressure differential bypass valve? Wirsbo has them available in 34" and 1". What flow rate are you looking for?

    Differential Pressure Regulator(Valve?)

If a valve that maintains a constant differential between the supply & return sides of a hydronic system is what you're looking for, try the Honeywell D146. It is available in two sizes, D146M1032 3/4" for 18 gpm or D146M1040 1&1/4" for 50 gpm. Contact any Honeywell distributor, or call 401 738 4290, choose option 6.

    Larger Yet

Spence makes pilot operated differential pressure valves up to 6", this is not for home use, too big.
    Look at: http://www.spenceengineering.com/Handbook/n_pilot.pdf

    What's it for?

Cal-Val (Clayton Valve, Newport Beach, Ca.,) makes them thru 24" I believe. But, they are not for hot water service, max temp. 180*f. Application makes a huge difference to the valve and mfg. co you go to. Also, the little honeywell and others like it are simple spring operated units, and they work fine. Bigger valves like Cla-Val are pilot operated. Installed correctly they will hold your pressures dead nuts on what you want.
    Best luck, Art
