What are you building, Richard?Retired and loving it.0 -
A torture chamber.
seriously, it is on an existing system. this fluid is circulated through a large drum roller and used to print fabric through a heat transfer process.0 -
I piped in a hot oil unit for a customer a couple years back. I think the machine had a Taco pump. I do not have records as we only piped it. If you don't find one let me know and I can check with my customer.0 -
Try Cornell Pump
our of Portland Or., they made pumps for cooking oil circulation. They also make pumps that will pump fruit and vegi's without damage. I don't know if they make a small enough pump for your application. That temp will need a cooled seal or sealless (mag drive) for any decent life from the seal before replacement. $3K to 4K...maybe, check the spec's of what you offer and if the end user goes for cheap....let the buyer beware!0 -
high temp pumps
You might try to contact the rep for Dean Brothers Pumps in Indianapolis or SIHI Pumps in Grand Island NY. You might also check www.pumps-ez.com .0 -
Try Goulds Pumps one of the biggest manf.0 -
these are industrial pumps you are looking for. dean should be able to supply you. on systems such as this, it is not reccommended to use screw pipe, use either 3000 lb socket weld or buttweld fittings. it will save you aggravation later. a lot of the older military plants are hthw, used to have one in a local pro stadium. any unions should be socket weld, copper face ground joint. stuff is expensive but your customer already knows this, dont sell yourself short.0
