What a cool idea

I installed an A/C system once in a 200 year old house. Plaster walls with horse hair mixxed in to hold it together. (When I drilled a hole with a hole saw the plug came out with hairs sticking out of it) I was pleasantly surprised when I found an old coke bottle cap from the early 60's back when they had pictures on the bottom of baseball players. This one had a picture of the Senators great, "Frank Howard" I had forgotten about that promotion and it brought back memories of when we had baseball in Washington. I also found an adaptor for a 45 rpm record so you could play them on a 33 rpm record player. My helper had no idea what it was. I hung it from my mirror for a while for good luck.

As the saying goes...."an artist always signs his work". An interesting twist with the card in a bottle. Been using magic markers and company stickers for years on stack pipes, boilers and the such...amazing, isn't it' how few guys out there have enough pride in their work to autograph it! "Kilroy was here" with a twist!!!!!!

Hey Hot Rod, you ought to put a quarter or a dime or something in the bottle. You know how exciting it is to find an old coin somewhere. Of course it would get into the profits, so make sure you build it into your price :-)
