Circulator flanges

I'm looking for a Circulator flange that I have seen in the past. It was two pieces, one that had the pipe threads and the gasket surface, and one piece that fit over that with the bolt holes in it. The bolt hole yoke could be turned freely, which made changing from Taco to Grundfos circulators easier. The flanges are 90° different on those two particular pumps, and rotating the bolt holes a quarter turn would be a plus when changing out pumps.

Anybody else seen flanges like this? Anyone know where to buy them?

    Grundfos, Taco

both offer the swivel types. Although I have not seen them in sweat. Not a big fan of the screw slot/ allen wrench valve, however. Make sure it doesn't conflict with the bolts!

My version is the sweat by mip Jomar with your choice of flange. The flange tool allows me to turn the flange to the right position. It's full port and has a nice packing gland. I generally remove the handle. Too convient for un-knowing "valve turners"

    Flanges

    Hot rod,

I like your flange tool. I'll have to make myself up one of those. How does the Jomar valve and standard flange compare in price to the sweat type isolation flanges? Always like to see new ways of doing things.

    Grundfos

makes an "R" version of our 15 series volutes for easy swap out with Taco. The flanges are 90 deg. different than the standard configuration.

We have a complete line of iso-flanges that have a rotating flange.

    I hope this helps,

B&G just came out with those..

A real ball valve with loose flanges in the standard series 100 bolt pattern and the larger HV pattern Available up to 1 1/4 inches. Got several on a job site right now.... they look really nice.

    Check out webstone

If the supply house acan ever keep them in stock, I plan on using these a lot.

A brass flange, w/ builtin bal valve x sweat, for about the price of the combined parts.

    Look at webstonevalves.com

    I remember them well!

They are still my favorite ball/flange of all time. I just went to a job yesterday that I installed back in '95 and the valves still look new. Where is that Maxrohr guy anyway :-)?
