Trouble finding Steam man

Hi guys I have been visiting the site for a while posted a few times and you guys have been great. I have a 2 pipe vapor system and have posted some pics on the wall and you guys have been a big help.
I am looking for a good Steam Man. The guy that services my system is a great heat man but only takes care of 5 or 6 steam systems. Checked the Find a Contractor and closest is 40 miles from here and it appears that they specialize in hydronic. So I have started to call around trying to find someone knowledgable in this Lost Art. I am not having much luck I have already called a 1/2 dozen or so. I live in Wisconsin. I have to find someone dependable and knowledgable for when the heat goes out in January :)
So I have 2 questions
1. Anybody from WIsconsin hanging around the Wall?
2. Do you guys belong to any trade groups? If so where would I find info on it? Thanks for your help on this
PS. I already have The Lost Art and the now coveted Lost Art Companion and a Pocket full of Steam Problems. As well as a few Dead Man books. I dont mind becoming an expert on my system but in the mean time I need some one to help with the no heat in January.
Thanks
Bryan

Sorry I thought I posted it. I am from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Maybe a bit far for you Steamhead. Should have hired a couple of you guys when you were all in Chicago. I dont really have any major problems at this time other than some water hammer at the end of the cycle. A little TLC with the rad traps should take care of that though. I bet they havent been serviced in 20 years if not more. I bought the house last summer. Just waiting for the end of the season to come. I bought the house last summer. Any help would be appreciated. I know there has to be someone out there in my area I just need to track him down.

You should seriouiosly consider
flying out Steamhead for a consultation. He''ll 'splain it so that any decent pipe fitter can make the correctionms. If that don't suit ya try the local cemetary - plenty of dead men there.....listen to whta the are telling you...be the steam!!!!!!!Mad Dog

Mad Dog,
You are right I should fly him out. Probly should send you a ticket as well. I love what you have done with your house and system. I love someone that will live out on the edge especially when you know what you are doing, great work. Maybe I should get a psychic and bring back the dead men. Thanks again for the support

BTW the Steam is staying
In fact if I ever should build a house I very well may take my radiators with and have a vapor system installed:) I have already had it recommended to me to convert to hot water. Its much better and more efficient so he says. One of the guys I talked to yesterday said he only works on 6 steam systems. Said his biggest complaint is they are noisy. Told him that they shouldnt be and the only thing you should hear is the boiler. I dont think he beleived me. Maybe I should send him a copy of the Lost Art.

Bryan, you have a Vapor system using Water Seals
Jake and I have you covered in the other thread. If you wish, I will be in Chicago again in September and it looks like Fond du Lac is about two hours north of there. Or we could schedule something earlier if you want. E-mail me and we'll talk.
