i am re-piping a hot water cast iron sytem. 3 floors of radiators on one zone. all the piping comes to the basement. i am changing this house to a 3 zone system with each floor to have its own thermostat. i understand the mono flow type piping arrangements, but the way it is pipe now is 2" off the main then has a t-wyewith 2" to one side of the house adn 2" to the other side. if i split this up to 3 zones thats a lot of piping. my question is can i tee the loops to go in both directions like the original piping arrangement times 3. or do i have to run a seperate loop for each zone around the house to pick up all my radiators. wow this is hard to describe. any ideas??
thanks alot for any input
