Since it's come up
(See "News from the CO Front")
ASHI is currently seeking presenters for the annual conference. It will be held in January 2004 in Albuquerque, NM.
The submissioon form can be found here:
http://www.inspectionworld.org/application.pdf
and although the deadline is March 31, 2003 I e-mailed HQ today (4/21) and was told:
"I already have a bunch of submissions, but we can always use more. Please feel free to encourage additional submissions."
What do you say, Wet Heads?
Also, since it's come up, *I'd* refer a qualified Wet Head who would make me look good in Ulster, Dutchess, Columbia, Orange & Greene County in NY
Best wishes, Arlene,

I looked at the format
and there is really no place for anything that I could offer to the organization as they have the application topics set up. Is there a more specific area related to gas equipment, combustion, carbon monoxide etc. I would be willing to submit just not sure which area I would fit in.
The last time I offered my services they turned me down stating that my credentials were not sufficent for their venue. They wanted someone who was directly related to doing home inspections. They did not feel my presentation would be technically profeccient enough for their program.
I had not written any books!!!
Just what are they looking for???0 -
Heck Tim,
put the advice youv'e given here on the wall into some type of format and you, and we, have your book.0 -

I don't know how to answer you Timmie, I'm not in that committee. But, of course, when I posted I thought of you. Selfish me, I wanted a bit of your training without having to go to Rhode Island.
I know what *I'm* looking for. I want to be sure my clients are safe and that I don't read about them in the papers. That's what you offer. Submit under "Advanced Technical Track."
Best wishes, Arlene,
