I posted about this last week and was referred to Dan's book E.D.R. I have ordered the book and intend to keep it for future use but it has not yet arrived. The customer is pressuring me for time and I don't want to give him a price without properly sizing the boiler. I would appreciate it if someone could send this info by email to scoopdaddy11@yahoo.com.

Thanks in advance for any help. Sorry about the frantic post. I've got the day off and my family is waiting for me. Tom M.

Can't help with convector
but the indirect "pin" radiator is most likely 20 sq.ft. EDR per section.
Your height measurement (18") doesn't seem to fit any listed exactly, BUT if it is a "Gold Pin" and you measured the end with the connecting tubes, this part is bulged out a bit and the 15½ nominal size would likely measure about 18"
Don't see ANY listed above 20 sq.ft./section.0 -
Tom, if you're not sure
what they are, how about posting a picture here to help us identify them? BTW, I tried to access the earlier post but it's a goner.

Thanks, Steamhead.
I don't have picture capability but here is a description:
They were sheet metal convectors with cast iron heat exchangers in them. They were 14 section on 2" centers. They slanted from front to back and the fins on the sections slanted up toward the front to draw the airflow through the sections. Both were built into the walls, one had a cabinet 23"H X 33"L the other was 21"H X 33"L. Both were approx. 7 1/2" deep.

I'm looking...
in the Burnham heating helper...going by the 6.5" deep CI convector 23.5" X 32" I read approx 22.6 sq. ft of rad. X 240/sq. ft. about 5424btu.
The other one is about 25.2 sq.ft. approx
It's not exact but in the ballpark...kpc0 -
Thank You All
These numbers should be close enough that I can use the correct boiler size.0
