is this o.k.? a customer put asphatum paper under a section of wood flooring. does anyone know, when heated will this be a problem? thanks, bob

Under really low temps you'll never know it's there. Under higher temps they will smell it. Dan

I agree with Dano
I used tar paper for years, and never had a "smell" complaint. then again we kept the temp below 140. Last year I switched to red rosin paper, just for piece of mind. As al levi said: "you only get one chance to do it right with radiant." Mad dog
