Technology - what a world
I was on a call with a technican today. I was helping him out with a problem he has been having.
I was able to hookup my laptop in the customers home to their cable internet hookup. Went to HTTP://hbtechlit.honeywell.com and used the specification sheet for the control system we had on the job. Used wiring diagrams right off the site and technicain was able to solve the problem.
The homeowner was watching all of this and asked a question about another Honeywell product. We went to the site for that equipment and downloaded some advertising literature for the customer.
The technicans boss just called me and told me the homeowners husband called up and gave the job to them to install the equipment we had downloaded for them.
What a technical and marketing tool this internet is. Hey everyone should be taking their laptop in on the job you never know.
