what type matirel do you recomend to put under concrete slad for radient heat????

2" blueboard or similar, high density foam board, is whats used around here. Believe its somewhere around 40-50#/sq.ft. stuff. Moisture is the killer with any insulation, and even this stuff is not water proof. Good drainage is a must, and a good vapor barrier under the insulation is needed. Moisture wicks heat away in a hurry.

to Steve. Some others may try bubblefoil but styro is real nice to work with. I use the wirsbo stapler and the job goes quick and the tube stays put. kpc0
