Has anyone converted a nat munchie to propane?

Just install the brass orofice between the gas valve and the air horn. Should need no other tweaks. Be sure you have 3/4" gas line to boiler. Not needed for capacity, but for smooth running. Also make sure there is at least 10' of pipe between boiler and secondary regulator.

Inherited someone elses mess, am trying to startup tomorrow. Imagine our surprise today when I double chech everything for tomorrow's fireup, and the Pinnacle tag says natural gas. Try telling that to the propane tank outside. Or the 9 months and 1 week overdue lady moving into her new home today. So, we enter panic mode. Check with the origional installer ( who was in way over his head), says "yup I ordered a nat boiler, they will have gas on this street before next fall. They just have to run it that way till then. " OH, REALLY. Can I just ignore the laws of physics and gases? Factory had a conniption. But in the end, they overnited me the conversion kit. Has anybody ever field converted on of these things? Any advice? Thanks Guys, I am the "Radiantmon"

    Curious

As to why on the 3/4" pipe and the 10' between the secondary and the unit?

    Manufacturer requirement

The mfg has found that this is the right thing to do. Has to do with gas line pulsations between boiler regulator and service regulator. (Forms standing wave oscillations in small short pipe.) Combustion tends to pulsate or flutter if instructions not followed.
