I have a bunch of photos and will try not and blast you all with them at the same time. Here's a shot of Dan, Joel Bouchie, Steve , Howard and myself. Sorry Steve, I spent the whole week with you and still can't remember your last name.
I have NEVER drank so much beer in my life nor eaten so much PORK.
I was extremly lucky to be with a great group of intelligent, family orientated, gentleman.
We learned alot, ate alot, drank alot , and laughed even more if thats possible.
To Lee, Arty, Tony, King George, Joe and all the others, thanks for a trip I will never forget.
And Mostly to Andy and Dave from Viega. You guys are top notch.
And last but not least, Tim Malarky from Capco for putting this whole thing together for us. It was a GREAT TIME.
Hey Dan and Dave, we looked for you Friday but could'nt find you ?
Scott, from the Betty Ford Clinic.

I am Glad we got to meet Wed,
But I missed running into Dave. I walked around the plumbing section on Friday and was sure I would see him bugged eyed in front of something.
Dan, care for a pork sandwich ?

This is
Elizabeth, the Bartender. We see her every two years and she greets us as though we had just returned from a short trip to the john rather than two years in America. This has been going on since 1991. She was drinking with us (that's not seltzer in her glass) and pouring us shots of grappa (her idea) to go with the beer.
She also fed us Cheese with Music, which was pickled cheese and onions, floating in pickle juice. You can't get that at Fenway.
The music arrives about 15 minutes after you eat it.

Friday @ noon
I waited at the Viessman info booth till 12:15. Sorry we didn't get together.
Hostage baggage change took place on Thursday - never thought I'd be so happy to see clean clothes!
I WAS in the plumbing area on Friday in Halle 1.2 - checking out the Legionella displays. You shoulda seen the German's expressions when I told them we allowed open system construction(G). Then I swung back through Halles 4 & 3 on my return to once again view the beautiful displays and women! Did you see the pointer & setter poster??? Following that, I returned to Halle 6 & finally - one last swing through Halle 8.
What a show!
I shoulda listened to the warning about Holohan & Boltz! They took me shopping for underware & socks and then to that beautifull 15th century bar where we spent the afternoon.

Dave
Sorry I missed you, I could have sworn it was Friday at 1:00.
We went to the Hebing plant on Monday. This is where most of the tubing in Europe is made. Very interesting to see how the pex-al-pex is made. They make tubing for about ten or twelve different companys.
Tuesday was a field trip to see different contruction sites. We went into a small home that had been just roughed in, then to a office building and then finnaly a apartment complex where we saw all phases of construction.
Wednesday was spent at Viega plant viewing their new bronze casting plant and shipping and recieving.
Thursday and Friday was the show. Wow.
Heres a shot of an English dual fuel burner that is 60 Million BTU's !!! . By the way the owner of this company had a wonderfull little english ale .

Another oil burner
This is Joel and Steve checking out another burner. Some of these companys have burners that went down as low as 35,000 btu's.

besides....
the motley crew on the stairs are those solar panels?0 -
Yes
We saw a lot of solar. Mostly vacuum tube and photo voltaic, if I spelled that right.
I was very supprised at the amount of wood and wood pellet stoves we saw. All I heard was the Europeans build with cement due to a lack of wood. After being there, I think its has to do more with the longevity of the cement buildings.

SHUMACKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
\"clear \"
My heart rate is slowly returning to normal, and most of the beer has left my body. They say I can leave the center in a few days.
Ask Steve if he can e-mail my photos to me and I'll post them.
Schumakers will go down as one of the most memoriable meals of my life.
