Baxi Luna boiler - hot water pressure

I recently had the Baxi Luna combo boiler (24fi)installed and have found the hot water flow/pressure is substantially reduced compared to my old electric hot water heater. My contractor has no answers and I would really appreciate any troubleshooting advice you can give.
The contractor says it might be due to having 1/2" copper instead of 3/4"?? But other contractor I have had in to look at it say that wouldn't matter.
Your opinion??

It probably...
has a flow restrictor built into it to keep the flow rate low and the differential in temperature high.
This is a common practice with instantaneous tankless type water heaters and it is often overlooked when explaining the benefits/detractors of this type of system.
They work great, provided you have the time...
