Electric Cable Staples

Electric cable staples for securing pex to subfloor for gyp pours? While much more labor intensive than a pneumatic crown stapler, they have a nice crown, are relatively inexpensive and seem like a great option for small jobs or as backup to the pneumatic.
If you've use them - do they hold well enough to keep the tube down in the pour?

Staples...
We frequently use range cable style staples on the end of loops on staple down where the pneumatic tool is dangerous and can damage or puncture the tube.I see no reason that they couldn't be used for an entire small job if you don't own or have reasonable access to a pneumatic tool. They hold down fine in overpours. There is also an an electric staple called I believe a "Handy Strap" that comes in a configuration for round electric cables of various sizes it is a plastic strap with two inserted nails. It works well if you have a thick enough overpour. They are available in sizes to fit most staple down applications.

I suppose
as long as you can drive them without a miss , that may damage the tube, go for it. Wirsbo used to have some nice round, curved staples for hand nailing.
Sioux Chief, and others make some nice preloaded (with single nail) plastic half clips that work nicely. A tad more expensive, but quick to drive, easy to hold without bashed fingers, and the ring shank nails really hold.

Thanks John & HR
It seemed like they should work. I was also considering the wirsbo pex clips, but they do have a higher profile for thin pours and not nearly as economical (but those loaded ring nails are nice!)
Thanks Again
