    EDR rating

Can someone tell me the output of 2" iron pipe baseboard element? Have 4" x 4" steel fins, spaced at 15/in.
  • this is the closest i can find

from ''hydronic rating handbook'' page 473...nothing listed that exactly matches your description that i have found,,,but it does list 2'' steel with 4.25'' fins at 24 per inch as 1100 btu per foot..hope this helps.
  • With a calculator...

you could figure the EDR in square feet by yourself.

    2 X Pi X R X length = surface area of the pipe.

L X W minus the hole = area of the fin.

Pi X the radius squared = the hole.

Don't forget to boil things down to common denominators. It's tough to add square feet to square inches...

  • Another close one

but not quite the same. It may help you, though. Divide the steam output number by 240 to get EDR.
