Off the Wall (SE)

Which is just about the only direction you can go from where I'm at in Michigan. We're headed to Holden Beach North Carolina for a week of sleep. That will catch me up on about 25% of what I missed this long cold winter.

Some friends of ours have a (house, cottage, mansion?) right on the ocean and it's a fantastic area and time of year to just go and veg out. The winter population of the island is around 800 people, in the summer it's over 40,000. Right now you can go down to the beach, look a couple miles each way and see maybe a 1/2 dozen other people. NICE!

Did I mention this home has 6 bathrooms, 9 bedrooms and an elevator? They rent it during the summer for around $4,500 a week. Not bad income. Bad part about it is the heating system. Air to air heat pump. YUCK! I'll have some pics when we get back.

So what I'm saying is that I'll be "off the Wall" till
April 1st. You guys keep an eye on Murph, Scott, Chuck and Mark for me whilst I slip into a much needed coma.

if you design a real heating system for them, they'll let you stay for free! Seriously, ditching that heat pump would make the place easier to rent in the winter, and it wouldn't cost as much to run either. A win-win situation if there ever was one.

Enjoy your time with the family and do some fishin for me . This winter has taken its toll on all of us , and to be able to get away would be my dream at this time , but alas.....I'm in the process of moving yet again .
